Cait Duncan received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island. Originally from Boston, Cait moved to Colorado after engaging in a year of service with Mercy Corps where she worked with homeless men and women who were struggling with addiction in Sacramento, California.

After moving to Colorado, she received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Denver with an additional certificate in interpersonal trauma studies. She worked for various nonprofits before dedicating herself to the substance abuse treatment community.

As part of the The Chronic Hope Institute staff, Cait specializes in addiction, family dynamics, codependency and stage of life transitions. She has a passion for working with members of the addicted family system as well as individuals in early recovery themselves.
